Year 5 Sparkly Start

What a fantastic first day in Year 5. We spent the morning getting to know each other and our new classroom. In the afternoon we had our Sparkly Start to begin our new topic. We enjoyed popcorn and lemonade as we watched an animation of A Midsummers Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare. Thank you Year 5 for a perfect day. I know we will have a fabulous year filled with lots of learning, fun and laughter.




Maths will be handed out on a Thursday and returned following Thursday.

Reading Homework

Shakespeare’s School Festival

Year 5’s performance of a Midsummers Night’s Dream will take place at 7.00pm on Thursday 2nd November at the Old Rep Theatre. Please buy your tickets directly from the theatre as soon as possible. Tickets sell out very quickly.


Year 5 P.E

Year 5 P.E will take place on a Friday afternoon. Please make sure that your child has both their indoor and outdoor P.E. kit.
