Sparkly Start

Nursery’s REAL project for this term is Space. A spacecraft had crash landed in the Nursery playground. We were all very excited and wanted to find out more about Space.

Next we had a visit from Mr Butler the astronomer. We looked through Mr Butler’s telescope and asked him questions about space.

Dan: “You see the moon with the telescope.”

Michael: “What do the stars do?”

As part of our Sparkly Start we also went on a trip to the Thinktank museum. We saw and learnt lots of things about space. We also got to watch an exciting story, in the museum’s planetarium, about the planets in our solar system called ‘The Little Star Who Could.’
