This week it was a case of ‘I’m a Year 3, get me out of here!’ when Year 3 experienced a taste of Stone Age living at Outback2basics in Shropshire. The class had a great time learning how to make fire and construct shelters and even got to try some ‘interesting’ new food! This is what Naomi from Outback2basics had to say about our children:

‘I thought the children from The Oratory were a pleasure to work with. A very lively bunch with bright questions and answers as well as showing a real eagerness to ‘get stuck in’. I was especially impressed that many of them tried my edible bugs, mostly girls too! I would happily welcome that group back anytime or indeed any other classes from The Oratory.’

Well done Year 3, you are a credit to the whole school! Perhaps we should ask Pat the Cook to put ‘bushtucker’ on the menu from now on…
